The Brief
Berlin Street Tours is launching a website for a street art tour company that aims to celebrate Berlin's unique blend of "grit and glamour." The goal is to highlight the city's vibrant street art scene and subcultures, showcasing Berlin's authentic character. The target audience includes creative individuals and aspiring artists who are deeply interested in exploring and engaging with the city's art scene.

The Solution
The design incorporates a bold colour palette inspired by the German flag—black, red, and gold—symbolising both the city's rich history and its dynamic contemporary culture. Black represents the gritty, raw aspects of Berlin's streets, while red and gold highlight the vibrancy and creative energy that make the city so captivating. This colour scheme is woven throughout the site, enhancing the immersive experience and making a strong visual statement that resonates with Berlin's unique identity. To further emphasise Berlin's authentic character, I've treated the imagery with a grain texture which adds a layer of depth, leaning into the gritty reality of the city’s urban landscape.
The grain effect mirrors the raw, unpolished nature of street art, reinforcing the connection between Berlin’s rough edges and its artistic allure. Together, the colour palette and image treatment create an immersive experience that vividly captures the spirit of Berlin’s street art scene.
I designed access passes that seamlessly mirror the overall design aesthetic. These passes incorporate the same bold, urban-inspired elements and gritty textures that characterise the brand, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience for participants. The design not only serves as a functional ticket but also as a keepsake that reflects the edgy, vibrant spirit of Berlin's street culture.
